It's not too often we let our kids make a mess with paint on our walls, but his was one of those times. We let the kids help prime our walls before we applied the green paint. Both steps are shown here.We got carpet samples this week and will hopefully have new carpet in within a week. We also bought 12 sq. feet of tile (yup, 12 tiles) to re-tile the entryway to this room. I wish this carpet thing wasn't slowing us down so much. We'd have been done long ago and had that room back.

Looking good! What are you going to do with those white areas that look like a window area? Is that where you are going to make bookshelves?
Yes, that's where the built-in bookshelves will be. We will be utilizing Dad and his genius.
That must have been fun for the girls. You can come make over our room for us.
Hope the girls forget the fun of painting on the walls after you get the final coat on. They have a way of remembering fun things like that and trying to do it again. Good luck!
