New joys. I have about ten baseball caps that I've owned for various lengths of time. One was actually stolen from Lindsey...now I can't wear it because it's too small. Either my dome's grown (due to my excessive steroid consumption) or I cut my hair longer these days.
Anyway, they get dirty. I sweat. I work in them. I hike around burned landscapes in them. I go to Hawaii in them. I don't have a fancy contraption to wash them in the washing machine.
So...I emptied the dishwasher, put 7 of my hats in there, and ran it through a cycle. It was actually a little funny to see it (3 hats on the top rack; 4 on the bottom). I should have used Spray n Wash or something to get better results (yes, some were really dirty), but overall I was pleased with the results.
Yipee. Please, share in my joy.

That's awesome. What did Jen think of your idea? It is a good idea to wash them that way. So smart.
You're weird.
Mom
I've done that myself before. It's a good way to keep the shape of your hats.
