Urban snowmobiles

We had some fun this week. While this video shows me being pulled on a sled behind a 4-wheeler, the objective was to pull the girls. They loved it despite the barely 20 degree weather. Even Lauren got involved in the fun!

That looks like so much fun! I love the picture of Lauren on the bottom picture. Did she like it?

She did seem to enjoy it. It was a bit of a bumpy ride, but she was smiling as Jen followed behind her. It was pretty fun to pull her. Abby and Leah loved it until they reached their breaking point, afterwhich they both made me stop immediately and let them off.

I had a great time, but my butt got covered in snow and froze pretty quickly.

That looks like a ton of fun! I wish we'd get enough snow to actually sled down our hill. Abby reminds me a lot of you Jess!

I remember one time in Spanish Fork, dad pulled us behind one of the cars right on the street. It was risky because there was a lot of ice and snow on the road and he almost drove us into cars parked on the side of the road, but it sure was fun.

This brings back tons of memories! One of my very favorite memories is being pulled on a smaller sled behind a very large, horse-pulled wagon (with runners on it, not wheels)through the snow-covered fields. The larger wagon/sleigh was filled with hay so when we got cold, we'd ride on the large sleigh and burrow down in the hay. Dad would throw hay off the sides for the cattle. Sometimes I even got to drive the horses, but not often. My brothers learned how to ski being pulled by this sleigh, too.
Oh, the fun we had in the wintertime in Cokeville!
