Love Lovey Valentine the Snowgirl

A lot of the snow we get here is powder...which is great when you have to shovel, but not so great for making a snowman. The girls have been waiting and waiting for good snowman snow and we finally got some today. We waited for Lauren to take a nap, then we bundled up and went to work.

It was great snow! There was 1-2 inches of snow and it would come up as soon as the the girls rolled their snowballs over it.

The middle snowball was too heavy for me to lift onto the bottom one, so we had to get a board to use as a ramp (where's Daddy when you need him, huh?)...it was still heavy but we got it up there!

Leah insisted it was a girl, not a boy, so here we have Love Lovey Valentine the Snowgirl.

This is what the perfect snowy day should look like. It's been snowing all day. There was an inch and a half of snow on the driveway this morning, but it has all melted. Snowman snow and no shoveling to do...awesome!

Holy Cow! I'm impressed at the size of that snowman! That's way better than the sissy one I helped them make in the backyard.

Glad you didn't have to shovel today. I love and miss you guys already! -Jess

That is an awesome snowman! You are a good mom to make such a big snowman with them.

That's huge! We had snow like that two days ago and it's all melted now. We went out and made snowmen and went sledding too. You guys have gotten a ton of snow this year. Our snow days are few and far between.

Way to go chicas! You rock! I don't think I've ever built a snowman quite that big before. You set the bar high for the rest of us now.

Hey! Miss Utah, you, the snow...all of it! The weather has been super nice here and I remember now(ask again in June) why we live in AZ. How are things?
