Rocket's Red Glare

I made this brief video showing our ward activity this morning. It included a great breakfast of dutch oven mountain man food, muffins, pancakes, and fresh fruit. After we all filled up, we had a 2-liter bottle rocket competition. If only I could get that dang parachute to deploy...

I think you have too much time on your hands to make such a rocket! Looks like a fun morning, even if your parachute didn't open. Happy 4th of July!

I see your Elder's Quoram gives out awards like they do at a pinewood derby for cub scouts. Vis., best color, best design, best flight, most work, best paint job, straightest flight, highest flight, slowest parachute relase, fastest parachute release, no parachute release, most intence owner, most competetive, poorest showing, etc.

Just kidding.

The best part was the picture of the beutiful women, young and (wait, they were all young).

They actually only gave out three awards: Longest in flight, best decorated, and most spectacular crash (I won that one last year).

Love the logo on the rocket! Nice try though! This would be fun for all the ward to try!

Loved the video! Very creative. It looks like we missed out...we skipped out and went to the parade (shhh, don't tell anyone) :0)
