We begin our journey home today. It's Sunday morning and we've got to check out of our condo by eleven (good thing we've gotten up before 7 every day this trip...). We got here last Friday and have loved being here. What a great place to relax and kick up your feet on the beach. Our flight isn't until 8pm tonight, so we'll slowly be making our way back to Kahului after one more shopping trip to Lahaina. We also hope to visit the Iao Valley to take some pictures. Maybe we'll catch part of the Colts-Patriots game on TV somewhere. But we're coming home. We fly to Phoenix first and then on to Salt Lake but won't actually get home until after 9 am Monday morning.
We both miss our girls and I'm sure those watching them could use a break. Some day I imagine we'll bring our kids on a vacation like this, but for now, it's sure been nice being without them!
