We got to Alta View Hospital today, just before a good snowstorm, and checked in to have our third baby. We got there at 7:45 am, got into our room at 8:39, and got started with the pitocin drip at 9:45. At 11:51, Lauren Emma Clark was born, healthy and cute. She was 8 lbs. 3 oz. and 20.5 inches long. She has thick dark hair, which leads me to think this can't be my child.Abby and Leah were there and saw Lauren shortly after the birth. Leah immediately took a liking to Lauren, but Abby was a little hesitant. It wasn't until they both came back later tonight that Abby was willing to hold Lauren. Both girls now seem very excited about their new sister.
Thirteen years from now I'll have 17 year old, 15 year old, and 13 year old girls. Please start praying for me now.

Good luck in the teenage years! I'll hit it before you do unfortunately! Let's just send them all to grandma's house and let them take care of it all until they are out of the mood swing phase and a little more mature. Sound good?

Congrats. Jess, it looks like you'll be coaching girls basketball, volleyball, soccer, etc. over the next few decades.
I will be happy to take those girls. I think they are great and only going to get greater as they get older. Some guy (or should I say many guys) are going to love seeing those girls. That is what you need the prayers for. Good luck!
