Memories...

You know what my favorite part of rivalry week has been? They keep showing the catch on TV during the sports. I love it! I'm not sure what I like better though...watching the the actual video or listening to Greg Wrubel call it. Seriously, how can you listen to him and not want to scream and jump up and down!! Anyway, it was great and that is why it is number one on my list of favorite BYU football moments.

2. The BYU wins at Utah in 2000. Jess, Ryan, another friend and I went to Rice-Eccles Stadium for the game. We were in the middle of all the Ute fans and we came back and won it. That was another awesome one.

3. Tulsa at BYU 2006. We bought season tickets last year and that was the first home game. It was supposed to be an easy win and it was (unlike the Tulsa game this year!). The part that makes this such a great BYU football moment for me is that I was 4 months pregnant, still feeling a little sick and had been stuck in the house puking for the last few months. It was the first time I had gotten out of the house and done something in quite a while. It was also my first time attending a football game since my senior year of college in 2001. A great day!

4. Lavell's last home game. They beat New Mexico 37-13. After the game President Hinckley awarded Lavell the game ball and announced the renaming of the stadium to Lavell Edwards Stadium. It was cool to be there for that.

5. SDSU at BYU 1998. We didn't even win this game, but we had good seats and it was raining and I was there with my roommates and it was just fun!

I look forward to many more years of great BYU football moments!

I remember that game at Rice Eccles in 2000. It was LaVell's last game overall. We weren't that good that year, but we managed to get a victory.

When we got back to the car (I borrowed Adam's because my truck wouldn't have fit everyone), the passenger side window was smashed and my CDs gone. I must have had 60 CDs in my case. We reported it to a UofU campus policeman and his response was "It happens down there [Provo], too." That's it. Nothing else from him. What a guy.
